Signing up

When you sign up on the resident, werk, BLANK.PROJECT or Vida Collective pages, we keep your name, email, mobile number, Instagram handle, what you picked (early tickets or selling tickets), the words you agreed to and when you agreed, and the promoter’s name if you came through a promoter’s link. If you came through one of our tagged links, from an Instagram post for example, or read one of our news posts before signing up, we also keep which one. They are stored by Wix, the platform this website runs on, which may keep them on servers outside Australia.

We use them to send you texts and emails from Vida Collective about the brand you signed up for and our other events: dates, lineups and early tickets. If you ticked selling tickets, we also contact you about how that works. Every message says who it’s from and how to stop. You can stop any time with the opt-out in a text or the unsubscribe link in an email.

Forms

If you send us a mix or a message, we keep what you wrote and your contact details so we can listen, reply and keep track of the conversation.

This website

This site is hosted by Wix. Like any web host, it handles technical details such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site secure, and it sets a few cookies of its own that it needs to run the site and to give us basic visit counts. We don’t use advertising cookies on this site. Music and video players from SoundCloud, Spotify, Mixcloud or YouTube only load when you press play, and then that service may set its own cookies.

Tickets

Tickets and RSVPs run through outside ticketing services, which have their own privacy terms. Their link is on each event.

Who sees it

The people who run Vida Collective. The services that run this for us, such as our web host and the services that send our texts and emails, handle your details only to do that job. We don’t sell your details or give them to anyone else for their own use, unless the law requires it.

Seeing, fixing or removing it

Write to contact@vidacollective.com.au to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it removed. We keep your details while you’re on our lists and remove them when you ask.

If something about how we’ve handled your details doesn’t sit right, email us and we’ll look into it and get back to you.
